Where is he from?

Leech is originally from Kirkwood and was a 1986 grad of Kirkwood High School.  

Where did he go to college?

He attended college at the University of Missouri.  

How long has he been at Windsor?

Leech has been teaching at Windsor for 26 years. He has coached cross country for eight years and track for two years.  

What is his athletic background?

Coach Leech played flanker in high school for the Kirkwood Pioneer football team.  He got into running after college and worked and worked until he made himself a better runner.  

What is his favorite thing about coaching?

He loves working with the kids and getting to know them as individuals. He likes that it is a different relationship than in the classroom and likes sharing in the kids’ successes.  

What is his proudest moment as a coach/teacher?

Leech is most proud when a kid works hard for six months and reaches a level of success they did not know possible, such as becoming all conference or being able to finish a long run that they could not six months earlier.  

How many are in his immediate family?

He has been married for 26 years to his wife, Joy, and they have a daughter, Rachel, that is in eighth grade.

What is his favorite movie & food?

Coaches favorite movie is the Blues Brothers and his favorite food is Mexican.
