Where is he from?

Dutton is originally from the South County area and he graduated from Mehlville High School.  

Where did he go to college?

He attended college at Three Rivers, transferred to Christian Brothers University in Memphis Tennessee, and then finished up at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.  

How long has he been at Windsor?

This is Dutton’s seventh year at Windsor. Prior to teaching at Windsor, he was at Riverview Gardens for twenty years, and Jennings for four years.

What is his athletic background?

Dutton played baseball and basketball in high school and played basketball in college.  

What is his favorite thing about coaching?

His favorite thing about coaching is the relationships he has with his players.  

What is his proudest moment as a coach/teacher?

Dutton has a lot of proud moments in his career both here at Windsor but his biggest is from Riverview. Winning the state championship was great, but he is proud of how his kids won it, and how they were able to put it all together to win. The team was down 20 points in the fourth quarter, but his kids kept believing and did not give up and went on to win the game.  

Who is in his family?

His ten year old son, Tanner, can be found close to any Windsor basketball team. He even plays for the Windsor Junior Owls Program. Dutton’s mom and dad are also faithful Windsor followers coming to nearly every game the Owls play in.  

What is his favorite food?

His favorite food is either pizza or lobster.
