Quality over quantity.

The Windsor volleyball team has a lot of excitement surrounding itself and the talent they have.

However, the team has  only eight players, including two seniors, McKenna Brown and Samantha Sabatino. Both are returning starters.

Brown said, “Being one of the only seniors on the team adds a little pressure, but not much has changed other than being older. Same stuff, different day.”

The seniors aren’t the only two returning starters. Juniors Ally Moore and Taylor Duncan are both three year starters.

Last season, Duncan was all conference first team, and Moore was second team all conference.

The Owls have won their past three contests over Grandview, Affton and Herculaneum. The Owls are poised to compete for another district championship later this month.

Dueker said, “I am excited to see it finally all come together. I feel like we do a couple things really well in each game, but they aren’t always the same things.  When we can put it all together at the same time, we should be very successful.”
