For the past several years, Windsor High School’s French teacher Lisa Honz, or just “Madame” to her students, has given her French III and IV students the opportunity to experience a taste of  French culture by offering them a weekend trip to Chicago. Since the trip is expensive, and an elongated process to organize, the trip is only taken every other year, which still allows for every class to get an opportunity to go. While in Chicago, students attend a tour of the prestigious Art Institute of Chicago to learn about French artists in greater detail and also take in the sights of the city.
