Thank A Teacher
While it is teacher appreciation week, students should show their appreciation for teachers on a daily basis.

Teacher appreciation week (May 8-12) is a week dedicated to our teachers to show how much we really appreciate them. Every day, teachers stimulate our confidence, give us guidance, and help encourage us when we really need it. Although we can’t show how thankful we are for them daily, we can take the time to do so during teacher appreciation week.
Jennifer Klingeman said, “Being a teacher is so much more than a job. It’s who I am as a person. I find myself teaching in and out of school and to people who would probably prefer I leave them alone. I can’t help it. It’s who I am.”
Junior Madi New said, “My favorite teacher I would say is Klingeman. Though I don’t have her as a teacher, every day she has a smile on her face and she gives out such a positive vibe. I’m definitely looking forward to having her next year.”
Keri Raben said, “I chose to become a teacher because I wanted to help all kinds of students experience success. While I did well in school, I did struggle with some subjects. Knowing how that frustration feels, I wanted to teach kids how to work around their struggles and feel that sense of accomplishment that comes when you finally ‘get it’.”
Kristy Pardeck said, “Things that make me proud to be a teacher are when a kid accomplishes something that they’ve been working hard towards, whether it’s academic or nonacademic. I’m also proud when I see kids become successful in life and when I see kids working hard to make a difference.”
Hayley Hutchinson said, “The teachers I enjoy the most are Mrs. Raben and Mrs. Pardeck. They both are encouraging and always find a way to help their students find purpose.”
Jessie Frederick said, “Most of my students show appreciation every day, and I am so thankful for that. When they complete their work, participate in class, and have a positive attitude, it means the world to me.”
Abby Comia said, “Ms. Frederick is my favorite teacher because she always has a reason to smile and she makes class very enjoyable.”
Teachers deserve credit daily, thank a teacher.
