Coach Schmidt is from St. Louis (but is an Atlanta Braves fan)

Where did she go to college?

She went to Webster University.

How long has she been at Windsor?

Schmidt has been at Windsor for eight years, and before she was a teacher, she worked in the business world at a company that handled printing.  

What is her athletic background?

Coach Schmidt played softball and basketball in high school.  In college, she played basketball at Webster University. Overall, she has spent 7 years coaching softball and 11 years coaching basketball.  

What is her favorite thing about coaching?

Schmidt’s favorite thing about coaching is having fun with the kids and seeing them be successful.  

What is her proudest moment as a coach/teacher?

Currently, Schmidt is very proud of the JV softball team that is 19-2. 

How many are in her family?

Kim is married to her husband, Tracy, and has 3 kids–Alexis, Cameron and Hadley.  

What is her favorite movie & food?

Coach Schmidt’s favorite movie is Fever Pitch and her favorite food is toasted ravioli.
