Kevin Bishop

Where is he from?

Bishop is originally from St. Louis, specifically the South County area. He graduated from Mehlville High School.  

Where did he go to college?

He attended Central Methodist college.  

How long has he been at Windsor?

He has been at Windsor for 25 years. He previously taught at Potosi for three years and Oakville for two.  

What is his athletic background?

Bishop played football and baseball in high school, and went to college on a dual scholarship for both football and baseball.  

What is his favorite thing about coaching?

His favorite thing about coaching is being with the kids and seeing them outside the classroom in a different role.  

What is his proudest moment as a coach/teacher?

Bishop enjoys seeing former students as adults, having them tell him they remember something from his class 20 years ago, or being invited to a wedding from a previous student after 20 years. He says it feels good to know you had a positive effect on someone’s life.

Who is in his family?

Bishop is married to his wife, Lisa, and together they have a son, Cody. He also has four step kids and a two grandchildren.  

What is his favorite movie & food?

His favorite movie is anything with Humphrey Bogart in it and his favorite food is crab legs.
