During Owl Time today,  the theme for the 2019 fall season of marching band was announced. The directors made a short video showcasing music and the name for the show, Cataclysm. The setting for the story is Atlantis, starting during the prosperous times of the city and then following a hero as they travel through the destruction. Band director Jacob Bubb also hinted at a conch shell feature and an original take on the theme. If you would like to be a part of this production, but don’t know how to play an instrument, try out for color guard. Tryouts begin on April 29. If you make the team, you could become part of the football halftime show and find out what it’s like under the lights.
